Ministries

CEF® has many different ministries for children, but the primary ones are Good News Club® and 5-Day Club®. In 2001, a supreme court decision gave us equal access to the public elementary school to host Good News Club.

Good News Club

Good News Club is a ministry of Child Evangelism Fellowship® in which trained teachers meet with groups of children in schools, homes, community centers, churches, apartment complexes, just about anywhere the children can easily and safely meet with their parent's permission. This action-packed time also includes songs, Scripture memory, a missions stories and review games or other activities focused on the lesson's theme.

As with all CEF ministries, the purpose of Good News Club is to evangelize boys and girls with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and establish (disciple) them in the Word of God and in a local church for Christian living.

CYIA is a week-long training school, located in Oregon, where teens learn how to evangelize children through teaching Bible lessons, memory verses, songs and games. CYIA gives teens the opportunity to practice and apply what they learn during CYIA by serving in a 5-Day Club®. Teens then return home and apply what they have learned in local community 5-Day Club outreaches in their hometown.
